The GRDN-DRYCONTACT-32CHAN-EXPANDER allows for expansion of the number of available relays / “dry contacts”. This device requires a GRDN-DRYCONTACT-32CHAN-HWSW and the expander connects directly to the primary relay controller (via a serial connection). This device is not ethernet-based. The primary use case is additional relays required in the same location as the primary relay controller (such as a shred closet).
