The Blue Line Gen2 TriTech Motion Detectors (ISC-BDL2)use a combination of passive infrared (PIR) andmicrowave detection technologies with advanced signalprocessing. The pet'friendly ('WP) models generatealarms for human intruders without generating falsealarms for pets. These small unobtrusive detectors aresimple to install and do not need field adjustments. Features:First Step Processing (FSP) almost instantly responds tohuman targets without producing false alarms from othersources. FSP adjusts the detector's sensitivity based onsignal amplitude polarity slope and timing. Thiseliminates the need for the installer to select thesensitivity level thus improving ease of installation andreliability.Pet'friendly Selectivity The installer can turn pet immunity on or off based uponapplication requirements. When pet immunity is turnedoff the detector provides superior catch performanceidentical to the non'pet models. When pet immunity isturned on the detector can distinguish between signalscaused by humans and signals caused by pets.
