Description
The DSC RM-2 is a dependable end-of-line power supervision relay specifically designed for use with 4-wire smoke detectors, including the DSC FSA-410 Photoelectric Smoke Detectors. Its primary function is to ensure that smoke detectors are continuously powered and to alert the system if power is lost.
This relay installs at the last smoke detector in the circuit, fitting neatly into a 1.5" double gang electrical box behind the detector. By monitoring the detector’s power input, the RM-2 prevents false alarms during power loss, instead reporting a check or trouble condition. It also works seamlessly alongside polarity-reversing relays, continuing to function even when detectors are triggered into alarm.
