The 2GIG GC Touch builds on the GC2e: a 7-inch touchscreen security and automation panel with an AT&T 4G LTE radio already on board, so there is no separate cell module to order, seat or activate on the job. It enrolls every 2GIG 345 MHz sensor already on the wall, which makes it a natural upgrade for existing GC2e accounts and a quick first install on new ones.

Programming follows the streamlined GC Touch flow, so a tech who knows 2GIG panels is productive on the first install. Dual-path communication is standard: the LTE radio reports to Alarm.com, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi gives a second path plus firmware updates over the air. 128 wireless zones and 64 user codes cover large homes and small commercial accounts without a second panel. UL 985, UL 1023 and SIA CP-01 2019 listings cover residential fire and burglary applications in the US, and ULC-S545 and ULC-S304 cover Canada.

Does the GC Touch work with existing 2GIG 345 MHz sensors?
Yes. It enrolls 2GIG 345S, legacy 345 MHz and eSeries encrypted sensors, plus 2GIG keyfobs and keypads, so an existing GC2e sensor set carries over without replacement.
Do I need a separate cellular communicator?
No. The AT&T 4G LTE radio is built into the panel. Activate it on the Alarm.com dealer account and it reports right away; Wi-Fi can be added as a second path.
Which carrier version should I order?
Order the carrier with the strongest LTE coverage at the install address. The AT&T and Verizon versions are otherwise identical; use the Also available as chips on this page to switch.
Which interactive platform does the GC Touch use?
Alarm.com. Scenes, schedules, camera live view, doorbell audio and voice control through Google Assistant, Amazon Echo and Siri Shortcuts all run through the Alarm.com account.
How does Bluetooth disarm work?
The panel pairs with an authorized phone over Bluetooth and disarms when that phone arrives, with no code entered at the panel. Standard 4- or 6-digit user codes still work.
Is the GC Touch listed for Canada?
Yes. ULC-S545 and ULC-S304 cover Canadian installs, alongside UL 985, UL 1023, UL 2017 and SIA CP-01 2019 for the US. ISED RSS-210 and RSS-247 cover the radios.
What is the warranty on the GC Touch?
