The control panel that anchors a full Ajax system: up to 200 devices, photo verification, and four communication channels running in parallel. This variant ships with a SIM already installed.

Built for the installer

Four channels is the point. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two cellular SIMs operate together rather than as a primary and a backup, so losing one does not interrupt reporting. Most traffic goes over Ethernet with cellular ready underneath, and switching between SIMs takes up to four minutes.

It supports up to 200 wireless devices including up to 10 sirens and 5 range extenders, with photo verification at up to 640 x 480 and delivery in about 9 seconds. Cellular covers 2G, 3G and 4G LTE across the North American bands.

Only Hub 2 Plus Jeweller and Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller are under UL certification, so this is the panel to specify where that matters.

Do the communication channels work as backups or together?
Together. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and the two cellular SIMs operate in parallel to increase reliability, with most data going over Ethernet. Losing one channel does not interrupt reporting.
Is a SIM card included?
Yes, this model ships with a SIM installed. The hub has two micro-SIM slots, and switching between SIMs takes up to four minutes.
How many devices can it support?
Up to 200 wireless devices, of which up to 10 can be sirens or keypads with a built-in siren, and up to 5 can be range extenders. It also supports up to 200 users and 64 cameras.
Is this hub UL certified?
Ajax states that only Hub 2 Plus Jeweller and Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller are under UL certification, so this is the panel to specify where UL listing is required.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European models on 868 MHz are not interchangeable with it.
How quickly is a lost device detected?
Within 36 seconds. Jeweller polls each device continuously, so a jammed, removed or failed device is reported rather than quietly going offline.
