AJAX | DoubleButton Wireless Hold-Up Device with Two-Button Activation, White | 42802

SKU:
AJ-42802

A hold-up device built so it cannot be pressed by accident. Both buttons have to be pressed together, and a moulded plastic divider between them means a knee under a counter or a hand in a pocket will not raise a duress alarm.

Built for the installer

That distinction matters because a hold-up button that false-alarms gets disconnected, and a disconnected panic button protects nobody. This is the device to specify at a till, a reception desk or a pharmacy counter where the alternative is a single button somebody eventually leans on.

Alarm confirmation can be configured across one DoubleButton or several, so a confirmed hold-up event needs a deliberate sequence rather than a single press. An LED confirms the command reached the hub, which on a duress device is the reassurance that matters most.

How does it prevent accidental activation?
Both buttons must be pressed at the same time, and a moulded plastic divider sits between them. That stops a knee under a counter or a hand in a pocket raising a duress alarm.
What is alarm confirmation?
A setting requiring a deliberate action, on one DoubleButton or across several, before a confirmed hold-up event is raised. It is configured in the Ajax app to suit the site's procedure.
How does the user know the alarm was sent?
An LED confirms command delivery to the hub. On a hold-up device that feedback is the difference between confidence and doubt at the worst possible moment.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European 868 MHz models are not interchangeable with it.
