SKU:
EE-SN11111

The eero Outdoor 7 brings full Wi-Fi 7 mesh coverage to backyards, patios, parking lots, and outbuildings, with an IP66-rated enclosure built to live outside year-round. This bulk SKU ships in individual (non-retail) packaging without the power adapter, priced for dealers running 802.3at or 802.3bt Class 4 PoE+ on site.

Built for outdoor deployment

One unit covers up to 15,000 sq. ft. outdoors (roughly a 70 ft. radius) and supports 100+ connected devices. Two Outdoor 7s can be paired as a wireless point-to-point bridge up to 1,000 ft. apart with clear line of sight, useful for shop buildings, gate houses, and detached structures where running fiber or copper is impractical. Backward-compatible with every prior eero generation, so it drops into an existing eero network without forcing a full refresh.

Key features

  • Wi-Fi 7 dual-band (BE5000): 2x2 2.4 GHz up to 688 Mbps + 2x2 5 GHz up to 2161 Mbps, with peak wireless throughput around 2.1 Gbps
  • IP66 weather rating: dust, rain, and snow resistant; tested from -40°F to 131°F
  • 2.5 GbE PoE+ port: single auto-sensing Ethernet port, powered by 802.3at or 802.3bt Class 4 (adapter sold separately)
  • TrueMesh, TrueRoam, TrueChannel: eero's patented mesh stack proactively steers clients to the strongest, cleanest connection
  • Smart home hub built in: Thread, Zigbee, Matter controller, and Bluetooth LE 5.0 on board
  • Backward-compatible with all previous eero generations and eero Built-in on supported Amazon Echo devices
  • 3-year limited warranty

Dual-band by design

Unlike the indoor eero 7 series, the Outdoor 7 is intentionally dual-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) rather than tri-band. Outdoors, 5 GHz reach and weather penetration matter more than 6 GHz, and dual-band keeps the radio package compact, efficient, and within thermal budget for sealed outdoor enclosures.

What ships in this bulk SKU

  • One eero Outdoor 7 access point
  • Mounting bracket and M22 connector
  • Mounting accessories for wood, fiber cement, vinyl siding, and stucco
  • Individual (non-retail) packaging
  • Power supply NOT included. Requires a PoE+ switch (802.3at or 802.3bt Class 4) or a separately-sold 30W Outdoor PoE+ adapter

If the deployment does not already have PoE+ infrastructure on site, the retail-pack SKU EE-SN10111 includes the 30W Outdoor PoE+ adapter and is the simpler choice.

Setup and management

Provisioning is handled through the eero app (iOS or Android). Once the unit is online, the homeowner or dealer can manage the network remotely, push firmware updates, and (optionally) layer on eero Plus, eero Business, or eero Insight subscriptions for advanced security, VPN, and analytics. No subscription is required to operate the mesh.

Why doesn't this SKU include a power supply?
This is the bulk dealer SKU for installations that already have PoE+ on site. It ships in individual (non-retail) packaging without the 30W Outdoor PoE+ adapter, which lowers the per-unit cost. If you need the adapter, order SKU EE-SN10111 instead.
What PoE class do I need to power it?
802.3at or 802.3bt Class 4 PoE+. A standard 802.3af (15.4W) port is not sufficient. If the site doesn't have a PoE+ switch, you'll need to source the 30W Outdoor PoE+ adapter separately or order the retail-pack SKU EE-SN10111.
Is the eero Outdoor 7 tri-band like the indoor eero 7 series?
No. The Outdoor 7 is dual-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz). The 6 GHz band is omitted intentionally so the radio package fits the sealed outdoor enclosure and prioritizes 5 GHz reach and weather penetration, which matter more outdoors than 6 GHz.
Can two Outdoor 7s be used as a wireless bridge between buildings?
Yes. Two eero Outdoor 7s can be paired as a point-to-point wireless bridge up to 1,000 feet apart with clear line of sight. Useful for detached garages, shop buildings, and gatehouses where running cable isn't practical.
Will it work with my existing eero network?
Yes. The Outdoor 7 is backward-compatible with all previous generations of eero. It joins the existing mesh as a new node without forcing a full network refresh.
What surfaces can the included hardware mount to?
The included accessories cover wood, fiber cement, vinyl siding, and stucco. Pole and metal-stud installs may need additional hardware sourced separately.
Does any feature require a subscription?
Core mesh, the eero app, automatic updates, and remote management require no subscription. Optional subscriptions (eero Plus, eero Business, eero Insight) add advanced security, VPN, malware blocking, password management, and network analytics.
