The Alarm.com ADC-V731B puts a 4MP HDR camera on a wall, eave, fence, or detached structure where running power isn't on the table. Multi-month removable battery, USB-C recharge, and solar-ready power input keep the camera in service between truck rolls. IP65-rated for permanent outdoor mounting.

Wire-free where wired isn't an option

Battery Saver Video Analytics on the device distinguish people, vehicles, and animals before recording, so the camera only spends battery on events that matter. Familiar Vehicle Analytics further suppresses noise by separating known cars from strangers. The integrated spotlight enables color night vision and pairs with IR night vision (up to 15 ft), two-way audio, and Alarm.com Perimeter GuardĀ® for active visible deterrence.

The camera connects directly to the dealer-managed Alarm.com account over dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, Wi-Fi 5). No proprietary hub at the install, no separate app for the homeowner, no extra mobile billing line. Standard Alarm.com video service applies.

Requires an active Alarm.com account with a video service plan. The camera connects over the property's existing Wi-Fi network and reports into the dealer's MobileTech account during install. No on-site hub required.

Does the ADC-V731B require a hub at the install?
No. The camera connects directly to the Alarm.com account over the property's Wi-Fi network. No proprietary hub or controller is required at the site.
How long does the battery last between charges?
Battery life depends on event frequency, but multi-month runtime is typical when Battery Saver Video Analytics is enabled. Heavy motion-event areas (driveways, busy entryways) shorten the interval; low-traffic locations extend it.
Can the ADC-V731B run continuously on solar?
Yes. Pair with the ADC-VACC-SP4W solar panel accessory (sold separately) or order the ADC-V731B-SP4W-BNDL camera + panel bundle. A few hours of direct sun a day offsets normal duty cycles.
What Wi-Fi network does the camera need?
Dual-band 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Either band works; 5 GHz is preferred for high-traffic networks if the install location has signal.
Can the camera be mounted permanently outdoors?
Yes. The ADC-V731B is IP65 weather rated and built for permanent outdoor mounting in rain, snow, and heat. Operating range is -4Ā°F to 113Ā°F.
