The POE3610-8BT is a ruggedized 8-port Gigabit PoE switch built for locations where desktop switches fail - unheated parking garages, outdoor enclosures, and panel rooms with no climate control. All eight RJ45 ports run at Gigabit speed with PoE, and four of them support 802.3bt for PTZ cameras and other high-draw devices up to 90W per port. Two SFP uplink slots handle fiber backhaul to the head-end without needing a separate media converter.
DIN rail mounting drops this switch straight into electrical panels and NEMA enclosures without adapters. The industrial-grade operating range (-40°F to 167°F) means it handles summer attics and winter outbuildings without issue. Per-port circuit protection isolates each PoE run, so a short or fault on one camera doesn't cascade and take down seven others.
