The Kidde BC-1R battery cabinet provides secure, dedicated housing for sealed lead-acid batteries when your FACP or booster power supply needs more standby capacity than its internal enclosure allows. Steel construction with a keyed, lockable red door and black backbox - clearly labeled "FIRE ALARM BATTERY CABINET" for code-compliant identification.
Built for the commercial installer
Sized to hold up to two 40Ah sealed lead-acid batteries, the BC-1R covers the secondary power requirements for larger fire alarm systems, booster power supplies, and mass notification setups per NFPA 72. Mounts adjacent to your Kidde Commercial FACP or BPS unit and connects via standard battery wiring runs through conduit knockouts.
