The Kidde FSUIM bridges the gap between a Kidde FX Series intelligent fire alarm control panel and a custom graphic annunciator. Nine relay outputs drive common system indicator LEDs on the graphic - AC power, alarm, trouble, supervisory, and more - while five switch inputs read operator controls like acknowledge, silence, and reset. One module handles the standard indicator and control functions every graphic annunciator needs.
Built for the fire alarm installer
Custom graphic annunciators are required on many commercial projects, and the FSUIM handles the common-function interface so the installer doesn't have to wire individual relay modules for each system indicator. It connects to the Kidde SLC loop and communicates directly with the FX Series FACP, translating system-level status into relay outputs that drive the graphic panel's LEDs.
Key features
- 9 relay outputs for driving common system indicator LEDs on the graphic annunciator
- 5 switch inputs for operator controls like acknowledge, silence, and reset
- Single-module solution - replaces the need for multiple individual relay and input modules for standard graphic functions
- SLC-addressed for direct communication with FX Series intelligent fire alarm control panels
System requirements
Requires a Kidde FX Series intelligent fire alarm control panel. Connects to the panel's SLC (Signaling Line Circuit). Used in conjunction with a custom graphic annunciator panel for building-specific zone and system status display.
