The GSA-UIO6R gives a Signature Series cabinet mounting and wiring terminations for up to six plug-in UIO modules, so a bank of GSA-M series modules can be installed and serviced from a single motherboard instead of six separate standard-mount boxes.
Built for the commercial fire installer
Modules plug in and lock down with captive screws, and all field wiring lands on the motherboard's terminal blocks, so a module can be pulled and swapped for troubleshooting without disturbing the field wiring. Riser #1 input can be jumpered between adjacent modules to share a single riser and cut wiring, while riser #2 stays dedicated to each module position. Slides into the included mounting track inside an MFC-A cabinet or other suitable enclosure.
Key features
- Six module positions on one motherboard, replacing six individual standard-mount boxes
- Two riser buses per module position, with jumperable riser #1 to reduce wiring
- Captive-screw module retention for fast swaps during troubleshooting
- No address required on the motherboard itself; addressing lives on the plugged-in modules
- Supports automatic device mapping for as-built documentation
System requirements
Compatible only with GSA-M series plug-in modules and a Kidde Signature Data Controller. Mounts inside an MFC-A cabinet or other suitable enclosure; allow 1" clearance on all sides.
