The Luminys N9L-4RAL puts accurate license plate recognition on jobs where vehicle tracking actually matters -- parking structures, gated communities, toll plazas, and commercial driveways. A 10-50mm motorized vari-focal lens lets you dial in the capture distance without climbing the pole, and 6 built-in IR illuminators push read range to 98 ft in complete darkness.
Built for vehicle access control
The N9L-4RAL reads plates at speeds up to 50 mph with 99% ANPR accuracy, classifies 10 vehicle types, reads up to 12 vehicle colors, and flags front-seat occupancy -- all from a single camera. LumiTrajectory logs the plate number and vehicle path so you have a clean audit trail without stitching together clips. The Luminys LPR Gate System pairs directly with this camera to automate entry and exit control based on plate match. NDAA compliant, IP67 rated, and PoE+ powered -- no transformer, no separate power run.
Key features
- 99% ANPR accuracy: reads plates at up to 50 mph (80.5 km/h), capture distance 26 to 98 ft
- 10-50mm motorized vari-focal lens: adjust focal length remotely without physical access to the camera
- 6 IR illuminators: adjustable brightness, up to 98 ft illumination range in complete darkness
- LumiTrajectory analytics: logs plate number and vehicle path through the monitored zone
- Vehicle attribute classification: 10 vehicle types, 12 color categories, front-seat occupancy detection
- Wiegand + RS-485 outputs: integrates directly with gate controllers and access panels
- IP67 rated, NDAA compliant: cleared for outdoor deployment and government or federal projects
System requirements
Powers via PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) or 12V DC. Requires a compatible NVR or VMS with ONVIF Profile S/T support. Wiegand output integrates with gate controllers; RS-485 ports support coil triggers and additional I/O. Local storage via TF card (up to 128 GB) or via ANR to platform/FTP. Pole mounting requires the LUM-P01 bracket (sold separately).
