The DW401-CW01 runs off your existing two-wire doorbell circuit (10-24 VDC or 14-24 VAC) and broadcasts over dual-band Wi-Fi 6. No controller, no NVR, no subscription needed. It ships with the CW01 wireless chime pre-paired, so the kit installs as a complete door station in a single visit. The LumiViewer app handles remote access; the 32GB MicroSD card pre-installed in the doorbell handles local recording without a cloud server.

NDAA compliance clears it for government and public-sector jobs. ONVIF Profiles S, G, and T allow integration with existing VMS platforms when the project calls for centralized recording. IP65 ingress protection covers outdoor door locations without additional weatherproofing. The CW01 chime is the only compatible chime; third-party chimes are not supported. Up to eight Luminys devices (additional doorbells and chimes) can be combined on a single system, with eight ringtone options to distinguish between door stations.

Yes. The doorbell accepts standard 2-wire connections rated 10-24 VDC or 14-24 VAC at 1.0A -- compatible with most residential and light commercial doorbell circuits. USB (5 VDC, 2A) is also supported for installs without existing wiring.
Does this kit work with third-party chimes?
No. The DW401 is compatible only with the CW01 chime included in this kit. Third-party chimes are not supported. Up to eight Luminys devices -- additional DW401 doorbells and CW01 chimes -- can be combined on a single system.
