Alarm.com | OSDP Mullion Reader with Prox, MIFARE DESFire & Mobile Credentials | ADC-AC-ET10

SKU:
ADC-AC-ET10

The ADC-AC-ET10 fits the narrow mullion of a glass storefront door where a single gang reader will not, and it reads the badges the customer already carries. Proximity, MIFARE DESFire and Alarm.com mobile credentials all work from the same reader, so a site can move to encrypted credentials on its own schedule instead of rebadging everyone on cutover day.

Built for the commercial installer

Wiegand and OSDP are both supported out of the box, and the reader is OSDP Verified by SIA for Secure Channel. That matters on a retrofit: land it on the existing Wiegand run today and move the site to encrypted OSDP later without pulling the reader back off the wall. Accelerometer-based tamper detection is built in, so you are not adding a separate tamper switch behind the plate.

Rated IP55 and -31F to 151F, it holds up at covered exterior openings and in unconditioned space. It works with Mercury and Aero Series hardware, so it drops into an Alarm.com Access Control deployment without a separate reader interface. Made in the USA.

Key features

  • One reader for three credential types: 125 kHz proximity, MIFARE DESFire smart credentials, and Alarm.com mobile credentials
  • Wiegand and OSDP compatible, so it fits both legacy panels and encrypted Secure Channel deployments
  • OSDP Verified by SIA, the specification many commercial and government jobs now require
  • Built-in accelerometer tamper detection, no separate tamper hardware to mount and wire
  • IP55 rated for covered exterior openings and unconditioned interior space
  • Made in the USA and certified to UL 294 for access control system units

System requirements

Requires 5-16 VDC, 144 mA max and an Alarm.com Access Control deployment running Mercury or Aero Series hardware. Alarm.com Mobile Access Credential support requires this reader family. Note that EV2 smart credentials must be Alarm.com or WaveLynx branded to read.

Can this reader replace an existing Wiegand reader without rewiring?
Yes. It supports both Wiegand and OSDP. You can land it on existing Wiegand wiring and move the site to OSDP Secure Channel later without replacing the reader.
Which smart credentials work with this reader?
MIFARE DESFire EV1, EV2 and EV3, plus LEAF, FSK and ASK proximity. EV2 smart credentials must be Alarm.com or WaveLynx branded to work.
Does this reader support mobile credentials?
Yes. Alarm.com Access Control readers are required for Alarm.com Mobile Access Credential support. See Access Control Mobile Credentials on the Alarm.com knowledge base for setup.
Can this reader be mounted outdoors?
It is rated IP55 and operates from -31F to 151F (-35C to 66C). IP55 covers dust and low-pressure water jets, so use a covered opening rather than a fully exposed one.
What panel hardware does this reader require?
It works with Mercury and Aero Series hardware on an Alarm.com Access Control deployment. No separate reader interface module is needed.
