The VIGI InSight S245 is a 4MP outdoor dome camera with a 2.8 mm lens and full-color night vision, built for storefronts, parking areas and entrances where you need to see colors after dark. It runs on PoE, carries IP67 and IK10 ratings for outdoor and vandal-prone spots, and talks back through a built-in mic and speaker.

Built for the commercial video installer

The 2.8 mm lens covers a 100° horizontal view, and the dual IR and white LEDs reach 30 m (98 ft), so at night you choose between color footage and black-and-white IR. On-camera analytics classify people and vehicles to cut false motion alerts, and the camera supports line crossing, intrusion and loitering detection. It works with VIGI NVRs, VIGI VMS and the VIGI app, and with third-party recorders over ONVIF Profile S/T/G.

Key features

  • 4MP full-color night vision: white light and IR to 98 ft, F1.6 lens, 0.005 lux minimum
  • Outdoor and vandal rated: IP67 weatherproof, IK10 metal housing
  • Two-way audio: built-in mic and speaker, plus sound and light deterrence on alarm
  • People and vehicle analytics: smart detection and attribute search speed up event review
  • Single-cable install: 802.3af/at PoE or 12V DC
  • ONVIF Profile S/T/G with H.265+ compression and on-board microSD up to 512 GB
