The Vanco EVEXKVM1 puts an HDMI display, a keyboard, a mouse, and three more USB devices up to 164 feet from the host machine on a single Cat5e or Cat6 run. For installers, that means a DVR or NVR can sit in a locked closet while the operator workstation lives at the front desk, with full KVM control and audio passthrough ā no janky USB-over-CAT dongles, no separate keyboard/mouse extenders, no separate display extender.
The pair is PoE-enabled in a way that matters on the truck: one unit plugs into the wall, the other pulls power from the same Cat cable that's already carrying the signal. One power supply, one cable run, two devices powered. Auto EDID and auto cable EQ handle the things that usually eat install time on extender jobs ā the EDID handshake just resolves, and longer runs don't need a manual gain adjustment.
The RX unit ships with four USB 2.0 high-speed ports (480Mbps) and a Hi-Fi USB audio card with analog earphone and mic jacks, so a security console, retail register, kiosk, or conference room workstation can land on the far end with everything an operator actually needs. 1080p @ 60Hz over a single Cat5e/6, HDCP 1.4 compliant, HDMI 1.3 and DVI 1.0 compatible.
