A curtain detector that looks both ways. Four IR sensors form two independent narrow beams, each covering 13 to 49 feet, so one device mounted on a wall protects the line in both directions along it.
Built for the installer
That geometry is what makes it useful on a facade or a boundary. Mounted centrally on a wall it protects the full length in both directions with one enrollment and one battery set, where a conventional outdoor detector would need two units angled apart. Each side can be configured independently.
The 4.5 degree horizontal beam keeps detection tight to the building line, so a pavement or a neighbouring garden outside the beam does not generate activations. SmartDetect and ELSA handle the filtering, with anti-masking, IP54 and a -13F to 140F rating.
