The keypad that also reads credentials. Alongside up to 200 personal codes it accepts Pass cards and Tag key fobs using encrypted DESFire EV1 and EV2, so users can present a credential instead of remembering a code.
Built for the installer
Encryption is the point of difference. DESFire EV1 and EV2 credentials use Triple DES and 128-bit AES hardware encryption, which means a credential cannot be cloned by holding a reader near someone's pocket the way a 125 kHz prox card can. On a commercial site that matters.
Everything from the standard KeyPad carries over: duress codes per user, up to 99 codes for unregistered people, group security management and protection against code guessing. Cards and fobs are functionally identical and differ only in form.
