Eighteen wired zones onto an Ajax system from one module. This is the part that makes a hybrid takeover viable: the existing wired detectors stay exactly where they are and the customer gets the Ajax app, without rewiring a building.

Built for the installer

It supports NC, NO, EOL, 2EOL and 3EOL connection types, with EOL resistance configurable from 1 kOhm to 15 kOhm per resistor, so it matches the supervision scheme already in the existing panel rather than requiring the loops to be rebuilt. Cable runs reach 1,300 feet.

Fifteen wired device event types are selectable per zone, so each device reports as what it actually is. It is mains powered from 100-240 V, which also means it does not consume detector battery budget the way the single-zone Transmitter does.

Can it match the existing panel's end-of-line supervision?

How far can the existing wiring run?

Why use this instead of several single Transmitters?
Cost, hub capacity and power. One module covers 18 zones from one device slot and runs on mains, where 18 Transmitters would occupy 18 slots and 54 batteries.
Does each zone report as a distinct device type?
Yes. Fifteen wired device event types are selectable, so each zone reports as the kind of device it actually is rather than a generic contact.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European models on 868 MHz are not interchangeable with it.
How quickly is a lost device detected?
Within 36 seconds. Jeweller polls each device continuously, so a jammed, removed or failed device is reported rather than quietly going offline.
