Brings one existing wired detector onto an Ajax system without replacing it. On a takeover where a hardwired device is perfectly good, or a specialist sensor has no wireless equivalent, this keeps it in service.

Built for the installer

It accepts NO or NC contacts with a cable run up to 425 feet on 24 AWG twisted pair, which is far enough to reach a detector in another part of the building. Fourteen wired device event types are selectable, so the device reports as what it actually is rather than as a generic contact.

It also powers the connected device at 3.3 V up to 125 mA, which covers most wired detectors without a separate supply. An accelerometer alerts if the module itself is moved, and there are terminals for the connected device's own tamper.
