An outdoor siren reaching 113 dB at 3.3 feet, with an illuminated LED frame. It is self-powered on four CR123A cells for up to five years, so it mounts where it will be heard and seen rather than where there happens to be power.

Built for the installer

Sabotage protection is what separates an external siren from a box on a wall. It reports attempts to open the enclosure, and separately reports attempts to move, shake or detach it, so an intruder working on the siren before entering triggers the system instead of quietly removing it.

Volume is adjustable from 85 to 113 dB and duration from 3 seconds to 3 minutes, which keeps it compliant with local noise rules. Classified type X: external, self-powered, with a remote power source compliant with EN 50131-6.

Does the siren need power running to it?
No. It is self-powered on four CR123A cells for up to 5 years, so it can be mounted high on a facade for maximum effect without a cable run.
What happens if someone attacks the siren before breaking in?
It reports separately on enclosure opening and on movement, shaking or detachment, so interfering with the siren raises an alarm rather than silently disabling it.
Can the volume be reduced for a residential area?
Yes. It is adjustable from 85 to 113 dB, with duration from 3 seconds to 3 minutes, both set in the Ajax app to suit local noise rules.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European models on 868 MHz are not interchangeable with it.
How quickly is a lost device detected?
Within 36 seconds. Jeweller polls each device continuously, so a jammed, removed or failed device is reported rather than quietly going offline.
