SDS Sensor Tester (Not For Resale). The SDS sensor tester verifies that each sensor is placed in the proper location and is functional, allowing certification by Service Provider that the installed SDS Enterprise Solution is operational. SDS sensors may be tested by configuring the SDS Enterprise Solution for test mode, then placing the SDS sensor tester over each sensor. Instant test result notifications are provided to the technician through SMS or email messages. These messages also include the location of that sensor. The GRDN-TSTR-2000 supports both wired and wireless versions of the SDS sensor. *Best practice is for Service Provider to offer a paid “maintenance plan” that tests the SDS sensors 1-2 times per year.
