Built for the installer
Check for a C-wire before the visit. This thermostat runs on 24 VAC and requires a common wire, and discovering its absence at the wall means either pulling new cable, fitting an adapter, or leaving without finishing. If the system has no C-wire and pulling one is impractical, the ADC-T25 can run on batteries instead.
S2 security is supported, authenticated and unauthenticated, which matters on any network where Z-Wave devices control physical access alongside comfort. The HD touchscreen makes it usable at the wall rather than app-only.
