Local continuous recording for up to eight cameras, in a box small enough to sit on a shelf in a closet rather than needing a rack. The SVR210 keeps footage on site on its own drive while search, playback and clip sharing run through the Alarm.com account, so a small commercial or residential site gets real retention without a server or a subscription tier built around cloud storage.

Built for the installer

It records Alarm.com and third-party cameras at the same time on a supported topology, which keeps existing hardware in play on a retrofit. The HDMI output runs up to 3840 x 2160, and the local interface gives live and recorded playback plus clip export at the unit, so pulling footage after an incident does not mean a return visit.

The unit has one drive bay with 1 TB installed and runs from an AC power adapter. Separate Camera and Uplink RJ45 ports keep the camera traffic off the customer's main network. A USB keyboard and mouse are needed for the local display.

System requirements

Requires an Ethernet connection to broadband, a USB keyboard and mouse for local display, and an Alarm.com customer account with an SVR210-compatible service package and a supported camera. The AC power adapter is included. The optional ADC-VACC-SVR210-MNT shelf is sold separately.

FAQs

How many cameras can the SVR210 record?
Up to 8 cameras continuously. For up to 16 cameras, step up to a Pro Series CSVR such as the ADC-CSVR2108P or ADC-CSVR2116P.
Can it record third-party cameras as well as Alarm.com cameras?
Yes. The ADC-SVR210 can record Alarm.com and third-party cameras simultaneously as long as a supported network topology is used. See the installation guide for supported diagrams.
Can a video doorbell be associated with this recorder?
Only the Alarm.com PoE Video Door Station (ADC-VDB755P) can be associated to an Alarm.com SVR or CSVR. Other doorbell cameras cannot.
Is a keyboard and mouse needed?
Yes, for the local display. A USB keyboard and mouse are required to navigate live and recorded video and export clips at the unit itself.
Is there a mounting accessory?
Yes. The ADC-VACC-SVR210-MNT is a white aluminum shelf measuring 10 x 5.9 x 1.5 inches, sold separately, for mounting the SVR210 off a desk or floor.
