Local continuous recording for up to eight cameras, in a box small enough to sit on a shelf in a closet rather than needing a rack. The SVR210 keeps footage on site on its own drive while search, playback and clip sharing run through the Alarm.com account, so a small commercial or residential site gets real retention without a server or a subscription tier built around cloud storage.

Built for the installer

It records Alarm.com and third-party cameras at the same time on a supported topology, which keeps existing hardware in play on a retrofit. The HDMI output runs up to 3840 x 2160, and the local interface gives live and recorded playback plus clip export at the unit, so pulling footage after an incident does not mean a return visit.

The unit has one drive bay with 2 TB installed and runs from an AC power adapter. Separate Camera and Uplink RJ45 ports keep the camera traffic off the customer's main network. A USB keyboard and mouse are needed for the local display.

System requirements

Requires an Ethernet connection to broadband, a USB keyboard and mouse for local display, and an Alarm.com customer account with an SVR210-compatible service package and a supported camera. The AC power adapter is included. The optional ADC-VACC-SVR210-MNT shelf is sold separately.
