The Centrios CER-REB is the combo kit that bundles a Centrios Smart Reader (CER) and a Relay Expansion Board (REB) in one purchase. Both units in the box, sold together for the openings where you already know the reader alone won't have enough relays or inputs to do the job.
Why buy the combo
The standalone Smart Reader ships with two configurable relays and two inputs, which handles most single-lock openings. Grab the combo when you're wiring something more involved: an auto-operator plus a second lock, a monitored DPS plus a REX plus extra sensor logic, or any install where you want to terminate connections on the secure side of the door instead of running everything back through the frame to the reader. One SKU, both units, no back-ordering the expansion board later.

Openings that need more than two output relays or more than two inputs, and installs where the wiring plan calls for secure-side termination for hardware like electrified strikes, mag locks, auto-operators, or auxiliary sensors. The Smart Reader mounts at the door with the capacitive keypad and Bluetooth mobile access. The Expansion Board goes on the secure side and gives you room for the extra hardware plus an on-board passage-mode override button and LED lock-status indicators.
