The DSC BD1.2-12 12V 1.2Ah Sealed Lead Acid Backup Battery is a factory-spec replacement cell for DSC security panels and compatible wireless alarm communicators and small accessory enclosures. Honest note on runtime
Runtime varies with panel current draw and accessory load. The Ah label is not hours of backup. Size the battery from the panel installation manual, not the case sticker. A heavily loaded panel on a small battery will trip a low-voltage trouble within an hour. A right-sized cell will ride through a multi-day outage.
Replacement schedule
