The Kidde 439D-6AW-R is a 6-inch vibrating fire alarm bell built for reliable audible notification on commercial fire alarm circuits. Running on 20-24 VDC with a low 0.085A draw, it operates directly off the panel's NAC without additional power supplies or special wiring considerations.
Built for the commercial installer
The underdome bell mechanism and alloy steel gong deliver 83 dB at 10 feet - loud enough to cut through typical commercial ambient noise. Diode polarized for supervised NAC compatibility. FM Approved and UL listed (S218, S2202) with MEA acceptance. Mounts to any standard single-gang box, 4" octagon, or 4" square box with the included mounting plate. For outdoor applications, add the optional Cat. No. 449 weatherproof back box.
