Remote Microphone Cabinet for Audio Evacuation Systems, Red

The ANSREMR is a red remote microphone cabinet for Kidde audio evacuation systems. It puts live paging at a second location, so announcements can be made from a lobby, security desk, or fire command station rather than only at the main audio panel.

Built for the commercial fire installer

On most jobs the audio panel ends up in an electrical or equipment room, which is exactly where nobody is standing when an announcement needs to be made. A remote microphone cabinet solves that without relocating the panel or extending speaker circuits. The red enclosure matches life safety equipment conventions and measures 12 x 9.88 x 4 inches. UL and CC listed.

Key features

• Remote live paging: announcements from a staffed location instead of the equipment room
• Red cabinet: matches life safety enclosure conventions
• 12 x 9.88 x 4 in enclosure

System requirements

For use with compatible Kidde audio evacuation systems. Confirm compatibility with the specific audio panel on the job before ordering. The ANSREMSUP remote microphone super card may be required depending on the panel configuration.
