The EGCLFRF is a Genesis low-frequency audible appliance, red housing with FIRE marking, delivering the code-compliant 520 Hz tone that newer sleeping-area requirements call for.
Built for the commercial installer
More jurisdictions now require a 520 Hz low-frequency signal in sleeping rooms rather than the standard 3.2 kHz Genesis tone, and this appliance drops in on the same circuit alongside standard-frequency Genesis signals without a mismatch in synchronization. It mounts to a standard 4" square box with the included spacer, or directly to a Genesis G4 surface box for retrofits with no back box.
Key features
- 520 Hz low-frequency tone, code-compliant for sleeping-area applications
- High/low dB output, field-configurable with a jumper cut
- Temporal or continuous audible pattern for coded or non-coded circuits
- Ceiling or wall mount, audible-only
- UL 464 listed for commercial fire alarm systems
System requirements
Mounts to a standard North American 4" square electrical box (spacer included) or a Genesis G4-series surface mount box (ordered separately).
