The CDR-3 adds PSNI coded output capability to Kidde commercial fire alarm control panels. It generates both positive non-interfering successive and march time codes through dedicated relay and tone outputs, giving installers coded notification without replacing the panel.
Built for the commercial installer
The card connects to the FACP via RS-232 serial port and runs on the panel's 24 VDC supply. A half-size cabinet footprint keeps it compact for panels with limited card cage space. Both PSNI and march time coding are available simultaneously through separate relay and tone output channels.
Key features
- PSNI coded output: positive non-interfering successive codes via relay and tone outputs
- March time coded output: relay and tone outputs for march time notification patterns
- RS-232 serial interface: connects directly to the FACP serial port
- Half-size cabinet footprint: fits in a single 1/2-size card cage slot
- 24 VDC powered: draws from the panel's existing power supply
