Turn the key to TEST and the integral intelligent input module remotely inputs a duct detector test alarm, lighting the onboard red LED for the duration of the test. The key can't be removed while in the TEST position, so the station can't accidentally be left in test mode. Ships with two keys on a 2-gang plastic plate.

Can the key be removed while testing?
No. The key cannot be removed while the switch is in the TEST position, preventing the station from being left in test mode by accident.
Does this work with conventional duct detectors?
No. The GSA-DTS is for use with intelligent (addressable) duct smoke detectors only.
