Does this license require a Luminys NVR?

No. LCL-HDV-UC is the Direct-to-Cloud variant -- compatible cameras connect directly to LumiCloud without a local NVR. For camera channels on an existing Luminys NVR, see LCL-HDV-U.

What cameras are compatible with LCL-HDV-UC?

LCL-HDV-UC is compatible with select Luminys IP cameras that support Direct-to-Cloud operation. Contact your SS&Si rep or check the current Luminys compatibility list for qualified models.

What cloud storage does the license include?

Each active license provides 30-day rolling AI Event cloud storage plus up to 30 GB of archive storage per end-user account for indefinite event retention. Archive storage requires the license to remain active.

How does the end-user access their cameras remotely?

Via the LumiCenter web client (any modern browser) or the LumiPartner mobile app (iOS and Android). No port forwarding or static IP is required -- all connections are cloud-brokered.

How is LCL-HDV-UC different from LCL-HDV-U?

LCL-HDV-UC covers one camera in Direct-to-Cloud mode -- no NVR needed. LCL-HDV-U covers one camera channel connected through a Luminys NVR. Use LCL-HDV-UC on standalone camera deployments; use LCL-HDV-U on NVR-based systems.

How is a camera added to LumiCloud?
