What's the difference between LumiCloud Lite and HD Video Unity?
Lite is included free with select Luminys NVRs (perpetual). Unity adds 30-day rolling AI event cloud storage, iMD and VCA analytics, health alerts, comprehensive reports, video/event sharing, and up to 30 GB permanent archive per account.
Does this license support third-party cameras connected to the NVR?
Yes, with limitations. Third-party cameras connected to and supported by a Luminys NVR get live feed and playback access. AI analytics, PTZ control, and advanced features require native Luminys cameras.
What happens to cloud-stored data when the license expires?
Local recordings on the NVR remain accessible. Cloud event storage and archive access require an active license. Renewing the subscription restores full cloud functionality and previously archived events.
Is LCL-HDV-U NDAA compliant?
Yes. LumiCloud HD Video Unity is NDAA compliant and available for deployment in the USA and Canada.
