An 16-channel network video recorder that records Ajax cameras and third-party IP cameras together. It conforms to ONVIF Profile G and S and supports RTSP, so existing cameras on a site do not have to be replaced to bring video onto the Ajax app.
Built for the installer
That ONVIF conformance is what makes it viable on a retrofit. The customer gets one interface covering intrusion and video, while keeping whatever cameras are already installed and working.
It takes a single 2.5 or 3.5 inch SATA drive up to 16 TB, which is not included, and supports H.265 as well as H.264. H.265 roughly halves the storage a given retention period costs, so specify cameras that support it where retention matters.
Bandwidth is up to 100 Mbps, with Bluetooth for setting up the Ethernet connection and a tamper alarm on the enclosure.
