The Omada SG3210 is an 8-port Gigabit L2+ managed switch with two SFP slots, a compact fanless box for small sites that need real VLANs and routing without a big switch. It manages in the same Omada site as the gateway and APs, or runs standalone when there is no controller.

Built for small-site aggregation

Eight RJ45 ports handle APs, cameras and workstations, and two SFP slots carry fiber or copper-SFP uplinks. Static routing, 802.1Q VLANs, QinQ, ACLs, 802.1X and IGMP snooping cover segmented camera, voice and guest networks. The metal case has no fan, so it stays silent on a desk, and a rackmount kit is included.

Key features

  • Eight Gigabit RJ45 ports plus two SFP slots: a small L2+ switch with fiber-ready uplinks
  • Fanless metal case: silent in offices and small closets, rack or desktop mount
  • L2+ features: static routing, DHCP server, VLANs, QinQ, ACLs and ERPS ring recovery
  • Zero-touch provisioning and batch firmware upgrades through the Omada Cloud-Based Controller
  • Standalone ready: web UI, CLI, SNMP and RMON when no controller is present

System requirements

Centralized management needs an Omada Cloud-Based Controller (firmware 5.15.22 or later), Omada hardware controller or Omada Software Controller (5.15.20 or later); zero-touch provisioning needs the cloud controller. Without a controller the switch runs standalone from its own web interface and CLI.

FAQs

Does the SG3210 need an Omada controller?
No. It runs standalone from its web interface, CLI and SNMP. An Omada controller adds centralized management, and the cloud controller adds zero-touch provisioning.
Is it fanless?
Yes. It has no fan, so it is silent on a desk or in a small rack.
Can it route between VLANs?
Yes. It is L2+ with 48 IPv4/IPv6 static routes and a DHCP server, so it can route between camera, voice and data VLANs.
What speed are the SFP slots?
The two SFP slots run 100/1000 Mbps. Use Gigabit SFP modules for fiber or a 1000BASE-T RJ45 SFP for copper.
Does it come with rack ears?
Yes. A rackmount kit is included, along with rubber feet for desktop use.
