The SolarShield MAX G3 is Turing AI's high-capacity solar surveillance base station for sites where grid power isn't available and weather is a factor. Three 100W solar panels and dual 100Ah lithium batteries (2,560Wh total) keep the system running 7+ days without sunlight - enough reserve for extended overcast stretches, snow zones, and weak winter sun.
Everything ships in one kit: MPPT charge controller, solar panel bracket, NEMA 3R weatherproof enclosure with self-heating for cold climates, 4G LTE router (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile), and two strobe lights. Cameras are sold separately - pair with Turing EDGE+ bullets for the standard base, or choose the Axis-compatible variant (LS-KG3-MAX-ABS-3Y) for Axis camera deployments. Remote power management lets you check battery and router status or reboot the full system from anywhere, no truck roll required.
The included 3-year Core AI license connects to Turing's cloud VMS for centralized camera and site management. Smart video search, intelligent alerts, instant share, and hybrid cloud storage come standard. Guardian AI (descriptive alerts and natural-language video search) is available as an optional upgrade.
