The ZKTeco inBio 460 PRO is a four-door biometric access control panel built for commercial installers who need local credential storage, flexible reader compatibility, and room to grow. A single panel handles up to four access points -- and when the job calls for it, you can network up to 2,000 panels together for deployments that reach 8,000 controlled doors.
Built for the commercial installer
The 460 PRO accepts fingerprint, card, and PIN credentials across four reader ports, with support for Wiegand (26-66 bit), OSDP, and RS-485 fingerprint readers including the ZKTeco FR-1500. Communication runs over TCP/IP or RS-485, so it fits onto existing network infrastructure without additional gateways. Onsite storage covers 20,000 fingerprints and 60,000 card holders, with a 100,000-event buffer that keeps audit trails intact between network syncs.
Key features
- Four-door control: manages up to four access points from a single panel, each with an independent FORM-C relay output for electric locks
- 20,000 fingerprints / 60,000 card holders: onsite credential storage handles large employee populations without constant network queries
- Scalable architecture: link up to 2,000 panels for multi-building or campus deployments covering 8,000 doors
- Dual communication: TCP/IP and RS-485 support gives you flexibility across new installs and existing infrastructure
- Broad reader compatibility: Wiegand (26-66 bit), OSDP, RS-485 fingerprint readers -- FR-1500 and others available on request
- 100,000-event buffer: deep local storage preserves audit records during network outages
I/O summary
Four reader ports. Twelve input ports (4 exit buttons, 4 door sensors, 4 auxiliary). Eight output ports (4 FORM-C relay for locks, 4 auxiliary FORM-C relay). Enough I/O for full door control with alarm integration -- no extra relay board required.
