A PIR and a glass break detector in the same enclosure, on one system point. For a room with glazing that needs both, this is one device, one battery, one enrollment and one point of the hub's capacity instead of two.

Built for the installer

Glass break detection uses an electret microphone covering 1 to 30 feet across 180 degrees, with DualTone verification. DualTone requires both the low-frequency thud of the impact and the high-frequency shatter before it alarms, which is why a dropped glass or a slammed door does not trigger it. Minimum glass size is 11 by 11 inches.

The motion side matches MotionProtect: 39 feet at 88.5 degrees with pet immunity to 44 pounds. Alarm.com publishes measured coverage per sensitivity level, from 44.9 by 52.4 feet on high down to 24.8 by 15.7 feet on low, which is unusually specific and worth using when planning a room.

Does this count as one device or two on the hub?
One. Both the motion and glass break sensors report through a single device slot, which saves hub capacity on a large system as well as a second battery to maintain.
What stops a dropped glass triggering the glass break sensor?
DualTone verification. The detector requires both the low-frequency impact and the high-frequency shatter before alarming, which a dropped glass or a slammed door does not produce.
What is the smallest pane it will detect?
11 by 11 inches. Smaller panes such as leaded lights or small decorative glazing may not produce a reliable signature.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European models on 868 MHz are not interchangeable with it.
How quickly is a lost device detected?
Within 36 seconds. Jeweller polls each device continuously, so a jammed, removed or failed device is reported rather than quietly going offline.
