A 5-inch touchscreen keypad that accepts whatever the user actually carries: a smartphone, a Pass card, a Tag fob or a code. On a mixed site that removes the argument about which credential everyone has to standardise on.
Built for the installer
The screen is the practical difference from a membrane keypad. System state, group status and faults are readable at the door rather than requiring the app, which matters for the people who arm and disarm a building every day and never install anything.
It uses the Wings protocol alongside Jeweller to move the larger data packets a display needs, and runs on six AA lithium cells. Note the battery life is about 1.5 years, materially shorter than the detectors, so it belongs on a service schedule.
