An air quality monitor that reports temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide to the same Ajax account as the security system. CO2 is the useful one: it is a direct proxy for how well a room is actually ventilated.

Built for the installer

In an office, classroom or meeting room, rising CO2 is what makes people drowsy and unproductive long before anyone opens a window. Monitoring it turns ventilation from a complaint into a measurement, and it gives an installer a genuine reason to be in the building conversation beyond security.

It ties into Ajax automation, so readings can drive scenarios rather than only generating a chart. Runs on two CR123A cells, IP50, at 3.03 x 3.03 x 1.36 inches.

Key features

  • Temperature, humidity and CO2 in one wireless device on the Ajax account
  • CO2 as a ventilation measurement, not a complaint
  • Drives Ajax automation scenarios rather than only charting readings
  • Two CR123A cells with no wiring or power required
  • Compact at 3.03 x 3.03 x 1.36 in, IP50

System requirements

Requires an Ajax hub or range extender. Indoor use. Place away from direct airflow and occupant breath for representative readings.

FAQs

Why measure CO2?
It is a direct proxy for ventilation. Rising CO2 in an office, classroom or meeting room causes drowsiness and poor concentration well before anyone thinks to open a window.
Can readings trigger automation?
Yes. LifeQuality integrates with Ajax automation scenarios, so a threshold can drive an action rather than only appearing on a chart.
Where should it be placed?
Indoors, away from direct airflow, open windows and the immediate breathing zone of occupants, so the readings represent the room rather than a local effect.
Does this device need an Ajax hub?
Yes. All Jeweller devices report to an Ajax hub or a range extender. The device cannot operate standalone and does not connect to a third-party panel directly.
What does the 9NA region code mean?
It is the North America model, operating on the 905.0-926.5 MHz Jeweller band certified to UL/ULC standards. European 868 MHz models are not interchangeable with it.
