Built for the installer
Marginal radio links are the most expensive fault on a wireless system because they are intermittent. A device that reports for six months and then starts dropping generates repeat visits and no clear cause. Putting a range extender in rather than accepting a weak link removes the whole category.
It carries a built-in rechargeable backup battery giving up to 24 hours of operation with Ethernet disabled, so a mains interruption does not take the extended half of the system offline. Up to five extenders per hub.
