The compact indoor camera that fixes the main complaint about its predecessor: dual-band Wi-Fi. The ADC-V515 was 2.4 GHz only, which in a modern house full of smart devices is where connections go to struggle. The V516 takes 2.4 or 5 GHz, and that single change removes a large share of indoor camera callbacks.
Built for the installer
1080p HDR with night vision to about 15 feet covers a typical room, and HDR is what keeps a face from being a silhouette against a bright window. Video Analytics classifies people, vehicles and animals on the camera, so the customer is not getting an alert every time a curtain moves or a pet crosses the room.
Recording is flexible: cloud clip storage, continuous local recording to an Alarm.com SVR, or Smart View onboard recording, with additional hardware required for the local options. Continuous Live View and two-way audio are supported.

System requirements
Requires 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi and an Alarm.com account with a compatible video plan. Local recording options require additional hardware: an Alarm.com SVR, or a microSD card for Smart View onboard recording. This model replaces the ADC-V515.
