Dual 3000-lumen floodlights at 4000K cool white, with a 4MP camera between them. Six thousand lumens is enough to light a driveway or a yard properly rather than just marking that something is there, and the camera records in colour while it is lit.
Built for the installer
The detection chain is what keeps this from being annoying. A passive infrared sensor triggers first and Video Analytics classifies what it sees, so the lights come on for a person in the yard rather than every cat and passing headlight. On a residential street that distinction is the difference between a happy customer and a complaint from a neighbour.
Automation rules through the Alarm.com app can tie the lights to system state, so they behave differently when the system is armed. IP66 weather resistant. This is the DC powered model; for a PoE++ install specify the ADC-VC729P.
Key features
- Dual 3000-lumen 4000K floodlights, enough to actually light a yard rather than mark it
- PIR first, then analytics, so the lights respond to people not to headlights and animals
- Automation rules in the app to change behaviour based on system state
- 4MP video recorded in colour while the floodlights are lit
- IP66 weather resistant for exterior mounting
System requirements
Requires DC power and an Alarm.com account with a compatible video plan. For a PoE++ powered version specify the ADC-VC729P. A junction box (ADC-VACC-729-JB) and a 19.6 ft extension cord (ADC-VPE-729DC) are available.
