The mid-size can for an access control job that outgrew a single-door enclosure. At 20 by 16 inches there is room for a supply, a distribution board and a multi-door subassembly on one removable backplate, which means the whole assembly gets built and pre-wired on the bench instead of on a ladder.
Built for the commercial installer
The backplate carries pre-engineered Mercury mounting patterns and threaded standoffs covering both standard and PoE subassemblies, so one enclosure handles several door-count configurations rather than stocking a different can per layout. Power and distribution boards mount in known locations and access boards land on the standoffs, with no drilling and no improvised hardware.
The shell is 16-gauge steel in a textured black finish with knockouts on all four sides. The door lifts off on a quick disconnect grounding strap to get it out of the way during rough-in while staying bonded. Lockset and tamper switch are included, and 4.5 inches of depth leaves room for the battery set.
