The full-size can for a multi-door head end. At 24 by 20 inches with a removable E4M aluminum backplate, it takes Mercury access control panels alongside FlexPower supplies and distribution modules in both single and dual voltage configurations, which is what a centralized design needs when every door in the building homes back to one enclosure.
Built for the commercial installer
The aluminum backplate is the difference from the smaller enclosures in this family. It is pre-drilled for FlexPower power supplies and distribution boards and carries threaded standoffs for the Mercury panels, so a dual-voltage head end goes together in known positions instead of being laid out by hand. Because it lifts out, the whole assembly is built and pre-wired at the shop and installed as a finished unit.
Construction is 16-gauge steel in a textured black finish with knockouts on all four sides. The door is removable on a quick disconnect grounding strap, a lockset and tamper switch are included, and 4.5 inches of depth accommodates the backup battery set.
