Gives an Alarm.com Access Control deployment its own cellular path to the cloud, so the door controllers do not depend on the customer's network at all. That removes the conversation with their IT department, which on a commercial access job is frequently the thing holding up the install.
Built for the commercial installer
There are two situations where this earns its cost. The first is a site with no usable network at the controller location, such as a gate house, a remote building or a tenancy mid-fit-out. The second is a customer whose IT policy will not permit third-party hardware on the corporate LAN, which no amount of explaining VLANs will always solve.
It works with Mercury and Aero Series controllers on Alarm.com Access Control. Note that it is for access control systems only and is not an intrusion panel communicator.
