Six feet of cable is the difference between a module that reports and a module that argues. The ADC-ANT-LTE-P gets the primary LTE antenna up and out of the metal panel can, which is usually all a marginal site needs before the signal reads usable.

Built for the alarm installer

The MMCX connector snaps on by hand, so swapping or extending the primary antenna takes seconds and no tools. Remember that most LTE modules expect two antennas: this one on the primary port and a diversity antenna on connector 2. Running a single antenna leaves reception on the table.

Six feet is enough to clear the can and reach a better spot on the same wall without turning the antenna lead into a cable run. Indoor use only.

Do LTE modules need two antennas?
Most do. The primary antenna transmits and receives, and the diversity antenna on connector 2 is receive-only. Running only the primary gives up the diversity gain the module was designed around.
Which port does this antenna connect to?
The primary antenna connector on the LTE module. The diversity antenna, such as the ADC-ANT-LTE-D, goes on connector 2 marked Div.
Will the 6 foot cable fix a site with poor coverage?
It helps where signal is weak but present, by moving the antenna out of the metal enclosure to a better location. It does not create coverage where none exists.
