Flex IO Strain Relief Clip for Wiring Protection

A strain relief clip for the Flex IO sensor, which takes the mechanical load off the wiring terminations. On a device mounted to a gate, a container or an exposed post, the cable moves, and without strain relief that movement ends up at the terminals.

Intermittent faults on outdoor sensors are usually mechanical rather than electronic. A conductor that has been flexed at a termination for two winters fails in a way that is very hard to diagnose remotely and usually gets blamed on the sensor or the signal. A clip at install time prevents the whole category.
